We did have 5.2 on the Tru64 boxes and I never came across the uac problem before.
I'm almost tempted to wipe and install 6 from scratch just to see if its an artifact of the upgrade rather than Unidata 6 itself. On a side note, do you have anything in the way of redundancy in place with your boxes, Tru64 cluster, etc?
