I checked that first. For example, LISTFILES reports that file TEST is
non-existant. But then ED MD TEST shows new item, and when I do a ls in
UNIX, the file is not there either. That why I'm assuming there is a list
of files somewhere that needs to be rebuilt.

Mike,

The LISTFILES look at VOC / MD entries for files. The message means that the
underlying Unix or Windows file has been deleted "manually" not thru
DELETE.FILE xxxx

I'm running a LISTFILES on a Universe system, and some files are showing the
following message: Can't open Non-existent file.

These look like temporary files that have been deleted at one time. Is
LISTFILES looking at a cache for data? Is so, how do I rebuild it?

Mike
