EDA is the new facility in UniData 7.1 which allows UniData to "front" use of DB2 as the file store.
So you code in your favourite tool in Unidata - but the database is actually DB2. Best thing to do is look at the 7.1 announcement: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/u2/unidata/ud71-ann/ Then have a chat with your support people! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of George Smith Sent: 06 October 2005 17:01 To: u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org Subject: RE: [OT] [U2] chance encounter with a u2 site Robert, Explain this " UniData 7.1 as the application server to DB2" This e-mail is for the use of the intended recipient(s) only.
