Use the UV Basic SQL client Interface (BCI) to directly update the SQL-Server database.
The example program in the BCI manual is complete rubbish, the CONNECT program in BP file in the UV account is a bit better. There are some good examples in the Knowledge Base written by Paul Chang at IBM Denver. Try Q00178, Q00179, Q00180 , Q00182 - Q00187.
