Here is a short status on my experience with an UniVerse Account and Cachi.

I started once more from scratch, created a fresh account named TESTCACHE,
copied 3 complex files from our legacy stoneage application - fixed the voc
files to those 3 files, did an UvBackup of the TESTCACHE account, from my
windows xp i ftp'ed the account backup file over.

Within the Cachi terminal i did the following :

USER>Do ^%SYS.MV # to enter the mv shell
USER:MVIMPORT "D:\TESTCACHE.UVB"
Import from UVBackup
UVversion: 0009
blocksize: 8192

TESTCACHE:

The only problem so far is that you can't create a class that references an
existing filem, so you have to manually create the class and set all the
mvattributes on each property so that everything works both from the terminal
and the studio environment, then i had to copy all the records from the old
legacy file to the new object..

I still need to create a web site where i use mv data, but that will be next
part of my test

best regards from denmark
