We are getting ready to upgrade our system to AIX 5.3 plus add memory and disk. However one of our software vendors (Evault) is telling us we need to upgrade the IBM XL C/C++ Enterprise Edition to V8.0 for AIX runtime enbironment with a minimum patch level of 8.0.0.4.
