Thank you all who responded. I have answers to questions you raised: 1) The majority of staff users access the database via UVCS - UniObjects & VB6. There occasional Telnet sessions, but not often. The Internet connection is via a UniJava object which we assume also uses a UVCS connection.
2) The database platform is Windows Server 2003 with UniVerse 10.1.4. 3) From what I have read of Device Licensing it does not help us. 4) To my knowledge, VB UniObject and UniJava sessions do not go through LOGIN or UV.LOGIN.
