A "netstat -na" as well......... I use device licensing a lot and haven't seen this one....
Take a look at the client systems showing the odd address and compare it to the rest - any difference in platform, O/S, users, termulator, LAN properties or client? If you were using a termulator with a very old version of the device licensing libraries - possibly with a non-IBM product - with a later version of the database I could see how you *might* get this (big! MIGHT though). Try Dynamic Connect (shipped free with the client tools) - if you are using device licensing (enterprise, workgroup or "device licenses for server") then make sure you use "udtts" not "udt" and that "Use device licensing on Unix" is checked in the DC properties. If you are using UniObjects then use one of the sample programs on the IBM WWW KnowledgeBase. What *is* the client software you are using here? Why are some of the reported IP addresses internal Class "C" network addresses? The support2 (port 7) and support3 (port 8) users are connecting from the an internal network within the same office behind a cable modem. I'm connecting as "admin1" (port 46) from my local office through a network behind my cable modem. 192.168.1.101 is my internal network IP address. I'm confused. Can anyone explain?
