Bear in mind that ODBC is relational is set-oriented. There is NO CONCEPT WHATSOEVER of "order" in sets, therefore if stuff comes out correctly ordered it *must* *be*, *by* *definition*, down to pure chance (or an accident of implementation).
If you want to guarantee it, you need to add an extra field (like HS/ODBC does), to tell you what order to sort in.
