Have a look at the SET.INDEX command. The path to the index files is store in the file header and you'll need to use SET.INDEX to change it to reflect the new location of the index files.

Hello all, I'm using Universe on AIX and I have a need to copy an Universe file from one account to another for historical usage. Using the AIX cp command takes a couple of minutes but the Index is not useable. Using Universe COPY or Basic read and write takes much longer. I believe the problem is due to Universe storing the full path to the Index files in the header of the data file. Is there anyway to "fix" the header without corrupting the file? What's the best way to handle this? Thanks, Don Robinson _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
