Good try, First off when you created the file, CODE, you had to be sure to create a Type 1 on Type 19 file. These are really Unix directories and accessible to the basic compiler which is a Unix program. Secondly the compile command, in your case would be "BASIC CODE FLAVOR.RO. The second argument is the name of the directory where you placed your source code and the third is the program name as you have already surmised.
