Try Googling the Phone Number - there are web sites where people post
scammer's numbers.

Subject: Re: [U2] Scripps Networking Services

I think it's a scammer...not sure why they'd be scamming Pick people,
but here's why they were "off" to me from the get go:

Incoming call from "recruiter" was from a blocked number. He advised me
that more information would be forthcoming from an administrative
assistant at his company.
Email arrived from administrative assistant later the same day. It was
written in all caps with very poor grammar. The subject line included
her name, and she spelled it differently than she did in the body of the
email. Jenna vs. Jena.
I Googled the company and could not find anything. Closest thing was
Scripps Network, which is not the same company name at all.
I asked the administrative assistant to send me a link to the company
website, and she sent me a link to Scripps Network. Like I said, totally
different company name than Scripps Networking Services.
"Recruiter" provided California phone number, but would not return two
voice-mail messages that I left inquiring about additional information.

I did not send my resume. The recruiter never returned those voice-mail
messages. Definitely stinkier than hell.
