Put all the jpegs in a directory on the nix box. Share that directory to the doze boxes using SAMBA.
Use the wIntegrate "execute command on pc" function to display the file. I'm not sure how you do it, but I think you can just try to execute the jpeg, and Windows will automatically invoke the default viewer.
