Steve, I recommend that you check out WinFAST (www.goWinFAST.com). We have been using the product for 2+ years now and it's blindingly fast, as secure as your existing application and can be implemented in less than 30 days with minimal code changes (or you can go 'whole hog' and re-write your code into an event driven model).
