Hi

I found the best basic stuff I came across when I was first learning about
Bayes Nets was that of Finn V. Jensen - his book:

Jensen, F. V., An Introduction To Bayesian Networks: UCL Press, 1996.

other books I found useful but were more technical :

Cowell, R. G., Dawid, A. P., Lauritzen, S. L., and Spiegelhalter, D. J.,
Probabilistic Networks and Expert Systems. New York, NY, USA:
Springer-Verlag New York, Inc., 1999.
Lauritzen, S. L., Graphical Models. Oxford, England: Clarendon Press, 1996.

Don't know about any specific tutorials that may be of use but I did come
across Heckerman's tutorial myself, and while not totally relevant to what I
am doing was very good background material

hope that was of some help
Adam
