9th International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2003)
Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland. September 29 - October 3, 2003 www.cs.ucc.ie/cp2003 Call for demo proposals Deadline: June 25th, 2003 CP 2003 is the main annual forum for presenting new results in constraint programming. The conference's technical program includes paper presentations, invited talks, doctoral student presentations and workshops. Attendance is usually in excess of 150 people. This year's conference has attracted a record number of paper submissions and doctoral applications. As part of the effort made by the CologNet European Network of Excellence (www.colognet.org) to strengthen links between industry and academia, this year's CP conference will include a session of demos on industrial and academic products or prototypes. One of the aims of this, is to increase the awareness for both industrial and academic researchers of the state of the art in applications within the CP area. Depending on numbers of suitable demos, sessions of 90 minutes will be scheduled with each demo given a 15 minute slot. Participants to the demo session are required to provide the hardware necessary to run the demo. Projection and Internet facilities will also be available. Proposals for demos should be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] by June 25th, 2003 and should contain the following information: -- contact person -- affiliation -- short description of the product or prototype -- technical requirements (Internet connection, ...) We encourage the submission of demos from both companies building and using constraint tools, as well as from universities and research labs building prototypes or other constraint based technologies.
