THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

The aim of the S.Co. conference is to provide a forum for the
discussion of new developments and applications of statistical models
and computational methods for complex and high dimensional data.

People interested in presenting a paper at S.Co.2009 are kindly
invited to submit an abstract by APRIL 4th, 2009.

during the conference the proceedings will be distributed to the participants.

COLLECTIVE BOOK
Pietro Mantovan and Piercesare Secchi are the editors of the
collective book "Complex data modeling and computationally intensive
statistical methods"
that will appear on the series Contribution to Statistics published by
Springer. This collective book will include about 15-20 long papers
(15 pages) on the best advances on the topics object of the conference.
Contributions to the book are open to all researchers, not only those
coming to the conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit
their manuscripts to Pietro Mantovan (pmant...@unive.it) and
Piercesare Secchi (piercesare.sec...@polimi.it) before September 5th,
2009. The manuscripts should be prepared according to the Springer
macros to be downloaded at
http://www.springer.com/authors/book+authors?SGWID=0-154102-12-417900-0
under the heading Manuscript Preparation in LaTeX, zip file for
contributed books. The language of the publication will be English.
Contributions will be reviewed before final acceptance for publication.

Best regards,
Piercesare Secchi
