The Intelligent Systems Laboratory (ISL) in the Department of Electrical,
Computer, and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
(RPI) in Troy, NY is seeking a postdoctoral associate or a Ph.D student
to perform research on data analysis for knowledge discovery and decision
making.
The position is available immediately. The candidate should have a
strong mathematical and statistical background, and solid programming
skills. We are especially interested in candidates with significant
experience in the theoretical developments of probabilistic graphical
models including Bayesian Networks and the Influence Diagrams as well as
in their innovative applications. Further information on related
