Call for submission of short papers:

AAAI Spring Symposium on Weakly Supervised Learning in Multimedia
https://sites.google.com/site/wslmm2013/

The symposium will be a 3-day event in March 2013 at Stanford with the
goal of bringing together researchers in machine learning, computer
vision, multimedia and robotics who are interested in learning about
the real world from large quantities of audio-visual data with minimal
human supervision.  Attendees should email a short (2-page) abstract
by October 5, 2012 describing their research interests to enable us to
better plan our sessions.  Additional information is available at:

https://sites.google.com/site/wslmm2013/

A registration fee, handled by AAAI, is required to attend the AAAI
Spring Symposium. Historically this fee has been around $300 for AAAI
members, and $450 for non-members which includes a year of AAAI
membership. Participants can attend any of the symposia, even though
they are officially signed up for one, and the fee includes coffee
breaks, a reception and banquet. AAAI also reserves a block of hotels
near Stanford at a discounted rate, and provides a $15 discounted
Stanford parking pass.
