Group Health Research Institute (GHRI) is seeking a doctorate-level
investigator with interest and expertise in health informatics and/or health
technology (e.g., eHealth and mHealth). The successful candidate will be part
of a highly collaborative, productive, multi-disciplinary scientific faculty
and will be expected to build and maintain an independent, extramurally-funded
research portfolio in their field of study. Candidates will be considered at

GHRI
(www.grouphealthresearch.org/<file:///C:\Documents%20and%20Settings\nelsjl1\Local%20Settings\Temporary%20Internet%20Files\OLKBD\(www.grouphealthresearch.org\>)
is internationally recognized for conducting non-proprietary academic
research, primarily through federally funded grants and contracts that total
more than $45 million annually. GHRI's scientific faculty consists of more than
35 doctorate-level investigators trained in medicine, epidemiology, behavioral
science, economics, pharmacy, and biostatistics. Current programmatic research

research networks including the HMO Research Network, NCI's Cancer Research
Network, NIMH's HMORN Mental Health Research Network, NHLBI's HMORN
Cardiovascular Research Network, AHRQ's SUPREME-DM (SUrveillance, PREvention,
and ManagEment of Diabetes Mellitus) Network, CDC's Vaccine Safety Datalink,
and FDA's Sentinel Initiative.

GHRI is affiliated with Group Health, a large not-for-profit health care
delivery system. This positioning allows access to an ideal natural,
population-based laboratory to study important health issues through clinical
trials, observational studies, and qualitative research. Investigators have
access to electronic medical records, pharmacy records, and other health plan
data for health plan members.

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated ability to both
collaborate on multidisciplinary research teams and to successfully compete for
research funding. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent)
in an applicable health-related field, excellent oral and written communication
skills, and a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
