Dear colleagues and friends, The “Tenth International Symposium on Imprecise Probability: Theories and Applications” (ISIPTA '17) is opening a call for poster-only submissions, intended to allow for the presentation of preliminary work, open problems, challenges, etc. The deadline for submission is May 5. ::: INFO ABOUT ISIPTA ::: The ISIPTA conference is the primary international forum about theory and applications of imprecise probability. Imprecise probability is a generic term for the many mathematical and statistical models and methods, allowing us to measure chance or uncertainty without the restriction of sharp probabilities. The symposium is open to contributions on all aspects of imprecise probability. ISIPTA '17 will be co-located with ECSQARU 2017, the Fourteenth European Conference on Symbolic and Quantitative Approaches to Reasoning with Uncertainty. The joint event will be held in Lugano (Switzerland), on July 10-14, 2017. The conference website with detailed information is http://isipta.idsia.ch ::: POSTER-ONLY SUBMISSIONS ::: Besides the full paper track (which has been closed), we are now opening a second, poster-only track. This track provides a second, free format presentation option that allows for the presentation of preliminary work, open problems, challenges, etc. Poster submissions will be reviewed on the basis of a one page abstract; the actual poster should not be submitted in advance. Authors of accepted posters will have the opportunity to advertise their poster in a spotlight plenary presentation. The abstract will not be published in the proceedings; it will be made available on the conference website together with the poster.
