The Institute of Medical Technology and Intelligent Systems at the Hamburg
University of Technology is offering a PhD student / research assistant
position with full-time funding for four years.
Your tasks:
- Development of robotics and machine learning methods for clinical
applications
- Localization and navigation based on image and sensor data
- Robot motion planning and optimization
Required expertise and skills:
- An outstanding MSc degree in computer science or related fields
- Very good programming skills, especially in C++ or Java, and Python
- Excellent knowledge of and practical experience in robotics and AI
- Very good knowledge of machine learning methods and mathematical
optimization methods
- Good knowledge of image and signal processing methods
- Very good written and spoken English, German a strong plus
We offer:
