I've been waiting for Google to be restored as the default verb for quite a while. I'm actually still using 1.1 because I've come to depend on this functionality so much. I probably use Ubiquity to do Google searches over anything else by a 10-to-1 margin, and that's saying a lot because I use it for all sorts of things.
Last I heard the developer(s) were going to try to get this back in for 1.3. What's the latest?
