Hi all: I woke up this morning with a neat idea for a new skin for Ubiquity using the fancy Ubiquibot graphics recently released on the Cocoia.com blog. It's still an early version; for example, the preview results for google are readable, but those for wikipedia are not because of
*.ubiquity-preview-content .gresult-content* > transparency issues which only seem to render correctly on google search results, and not wikipedia's. Also, I don't know how the skin will render on Windows or Macs. Maybe some of you could send screenshots or just let me know if the skin happens to look particularly bad on your setups. Anyway; it's out there, now, and at least a concept of how the ubiquibot might be able to be integrated into future the prototypes. Fork it, fix it if necessary (the code is hosted on github). Mostly I just wanted to throw together a very fun skin. Fwiw, all the skins I've done thus far have been primarily Linux-compatible. I know we have cross-platform compatibility issues sometimes, so this is also good.
