Hmm - interesting. Like you said, if we find a Windows user who is experiencing the freeze, we can nail the issue down. Were the previous crashes related to only Linux users or did they happen on both platforms?
And just to be sure it's not just my system, has any other Ubuntu user faced this? (though there's a smaller pool of Ubuntu and Ubiquity users to choose from) - but more statistics would help us do a better job of diagnosing the issue.
