I upgraded my ubiqutiy plugin to 0.5.2a1 today from 0.4.x (not sure
exact previous version), and what I immediately found seems to be a
severe usability problem.

Before, I could select some text and then CTRL+space and type a
command like "amaz" for amazon and hit ENTER, and it would load amazon
with the selected text. Now, with 0.5.2a1, it does nothing unless I
wait several seconds for it to display the matches in the ubiquity
dropdown panel.

One thing I do alot is if I have a list of ISBN numbers for books, I
will double-click each one to select the ISBN number, and then hit CTRL
+space +ENTER very quickly and it will use my last ubiquity
command ,e.g. "amazon-search".

The current behavior where you have to wait for the matches to load in
the ubiquity panel before hitting ENTER is very big regression IMO.
It has drastically lowered my productivity with using ubiquity. I
would rate this as a Severity 1 Usability bug.

The matches window may be nice for certain use cases, but in the case
where the user knows exactly what he wants, you don't want to have any
delay in showing the command's website, and certainly you shouldn't be
cancelling the command alltogether.
