Though the same might be achievable (if I understand your request correctly) by way of Ubiquity's pageload_ mechanism, but I think this is a feature better aimed at another Labs project, called Jetpack.
If you install Jetpack[1] you can then install this feature: http://jbalogh.github.com/jetpacks/copy-on-select/ and you'll have what you're asking for.
