As far as I know, this is not possible. I know you can run the live CD from a 
USB stick, but again, I don't know how that is done.

I personally don't see the point in copying the CD to ram anyway, as it would 
then take a lot longer to actually make use of the CD.

Without having a look myself, I can't say for sure, however I will certainly be 
having a look at it some time during this week.
