Yes, but you will have to start it by typing a particular command at the CD boot prompt. Unlike the i386/amd64 discs, I don't think this prompt has a timeout, so you should safely be able to wait till the CD spins down before you type the following command: "live access=v3" where v3 is the accessibility profile for speech with the GNOME desktop. Since PowerPC is no longer an officially supported architecture, no work went into improving this, and therefore there is no garentee that Orca will load and speak, however it should work fine.
