Hi, I read of things being done that are for gnome, I'm guessing that they are gnome only? Does that mean that those running xfce, lxde, etc. as desktop environments can not use them without pulling in all of the gnome libraries? I understand that the newer gtk standard is compatible across the different flavours of desktop environments, without getting too technical, could some one tell me what the differences are.
