While this hasn't landed yet for real, I can confirm at least locally 100% passing autopilot tests with a test build of telephony-service with the fix included. It's in the Qt 5.3 landing-005 PPA for now, but I'll remove it from there before final release once the actual telephony- service/address-book-app landing gets properly released.
Note, though, that unit tests still fail on telephony-service with Qt 5.3, so my test build was built with those disabled. ** Changed in: address-book-app Status: In Progress => Invalid ** Changed in: address-book-app (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: telephony-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Apps bug tracking, which is subscribed to telephony-service in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1327970 Title: address-book-app crashed when using Qt 5.3 with SIGSEGV in AsYouTypeFormatter::setDefaultRegionCode() Status in Address Book App: Invalid Status in Telephony Service: In Progress Status in “address-book-app” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “telephony-service” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: The crasher was triggered when using Qt 5.3. -- Refer to constantly updated info on the front page of https://launchpad.net/~canonical-qt5-edgers/+archive/qt5-beta2 regarding where/how to get Qt 5.3.
