really nice theme, I think you should have a look at tango firefox theme by Nico Kaiser and Garret LaSage, they do some interesting thing in the prefs dialog for example, you can find it at https://addons.mozilla.org/themes/moreinfo.php?id=1565
Can you explain what you mean by vertically misalligned regarding our arrows? I'll try to fix any issue you may have with them.
