Hi Your icon look very good. But ... if you used 2 icons that are graphically very close (almost same), they must be some analogy between these icons. With current design: preferences-system-network - fully agree, good design and analogy network-workgroup - good design, but this icon will better suit for network icon I mean ... network-workgroup - you may use same icon but add to it some kind of groups, at example minimally 2 groups ... differently colored nodes and paths.
