This behaviour is normal, because Inkscape renders finally in rasters. For optimise the raster I render drawings with 180dpi in Inkscape and let the phenomenal program "gthumb" the calculation back to 90dpi, also 185x135 in our case. Seems that gthumb has a better raster-algorithm... it's all. ;) I checked it out and the results are very professional.
