Good morning Ubuntu-AU'ers, I would like to forward on an email from the Linux.Conf.AU 2011 organisation regarding the upcoming conference. A number of people have enquired off list about if the conference itself and/or the open day is going to proceed. So instead of playing Chinese whispers I have forwarded on the exact email sent from the LCA team. My apologies for cross posting for those already on the Linux Australia list but I thought it would be useful and relevant to our team.
For those who don't want the full details essentially it is going ahead there just may be some modifications to the schedule and or location. As soon as the open day is confirmed as being on as per the program or otherwise I will also pass this on. Unfortunately, the Brisbane CityCat service is out of action till further notice. lca2011 Mythbuster #4 - lca2011 has not been cancelled The lca2011 team will keep you continually updated via email and the website. We expect to announce a confirmed venue by Wednesday evening - but please remember we do have back up plans in place and lca2011 is going ahead. There may be some changes in the schedule but it will be a great conference nonetheless.
