I don't involve myself in any of the team events or discussions but I read this list with interest (and occasionally contribute to a topic), and from my 'outside' perspective it would appear to me that Jared does a very good job in helping to co-ordinate anything he is involved with. He would seem an excellent choice in my opinion.
