I have a couple of questions for the Brains Trust please:

Subsequent to updating to 12.04

1. HP P1005 printer will not work. (whereas it worked perfectly in 11.10) I have tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail. Nothing I have seen or tried from on-line seems to work.

2. Is there a Linux program to to replace the need for "Kies" for Samsung Galaxy S2 phone?

My network-connected HP printer has been giving "Not connected" problems. It was originally OK in 12.04, but started playing up after some updates last week. No problems printing from other machines

I installed it fresh from http://localhost:631 and it now seems to be fine. I seem to remember I was given the option of 2 drivers and used the cups one. Sorry I can't be more definite.

Thank you Bevin, but no luck there. HP Laserjet P1005 doesn't feature in Cups anywhere.
