I agree that this is important. It should also be easy. (1) Substitute the new Perl executable file (available now in Feisty), (2) add a dependency (libio-socket-ssl-perl), and (3) change the default location of a configuration file (from /etc/ddclient.conf to /etc/ddclient/ddclient.conf).
P.S. With something easy like this, how could a mortal such as myself help? :) I don't have a lot of free time, but when I install this sort of thing for myself, I'd like to make that work available to others so no one has to repeat it. Is there a FAQ or something on how to help with this sort of thing? -- ddclient from fiesty to dapper https://launchpad.net/bugs/75339 -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
