I spent around two hours testing all those plugins with arpbookmac. Everything worked fine for us, even the complicated encryption plugins ! The only plugin we could not test is pidgin-librvp becaused we could not figure out how to get it to work...
I would like to add that my sisters have been running this backported version for more than a month, using it every day to LOL on MSN, and they haven't found any issues yet ! I also tested the following networks: MSN, IRC, and AIM. I would like to thank arpbookmac again for the time he spent !
