For info on backing up your database see here: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Backup_your_database Also, I had problems with the backend crashing regularly on Feisty (once or twice a week). I wrote a script that ran every minute as a cron job and would start/restart the backend as necessary (and report to me via e-mail). This script worked flawlessly. However, the Feisty version of myth was a SVN version, and since updating to 0.20.2 stable release from the updates repository I haven't had a single crash in nearly three months. (Note: I also had to install xmltv packages from the gutsy repos as mythfilldatabase went nuts.) -- Please backport MythTV version .21 to Feisty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201821 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is the registrant for Feisty Backports. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
