I personally do not feel comfortable backporting commonly-used server packages that have a long track history of needing security update maintenance because inevitably people lose interest and we cannot guarantee the same 18 months or 5 years of security updates that the Security Team can. Are there any compelling reasons why this backport is worth it, other than the version number?
