sudo dpkg -i --force-all koffice-data- kde4_1%3a1.9.98.5-0ubuntu1~intrepid1_all.deb But why stopping here? http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ Sincerly, this is *not* the way it should work. It should work for non- nerds and without any rm or --force-all. It should work right out of the box. This is bug and it should be fixed...
