Here is a patch for Hardy, with the changes backported.

The patch is self-contained within the Yahoo backend, to avoid breaking
libpurple ABI (as it relies on extra members in the
PurpleUtilFetchUrlData public struct), and also to minimize the
regression risk to other protocols which are currently functioning
perfectly ok.

The patch is a similar size to what was previously applied in Jaunty,
and as such, needs a similar approach to user testing
