Finally manually added the PGP key and got the repository to work. Downgraded from Maverick version to Lucid backports-testing version. Added repository file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/backporttesting.list containing. deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-backports-testers/ppa/ubuntu lucid main Added key using the command apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys AAC7706F Browsing using Squid3 works well. http://test-ipv6.com/ reports 10/10 (ipv4) and 9/10 (ipv6).
