I think Andreas was a bit mis-informed when he told you to open a backport request.
As a rule, we try to use the backports process to offer new features added to newer version of software, and we use the SRU process (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates) for fixing bugs. In accordance with that, I'm going to close this bug, and open an SRU task on bug #608904 ** Changed in: maverick-backports Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to maverick-backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/795097 Title: Please backport hardware-monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maverick-backports/+bug/795097/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
