Public bug reported: Please backport liberasurecode 1.1.0-2 (main) from xenial to precise, trusty.
Reason for the backport: ======================== Openstack Swift depends on PyECLib which has a dependency on liberasurecode. Openstack CI and devstack need precise and trusty packages to be able to support liberasurecode/PyECLib for testing the Erasure Coding feature in Swift. Updating the backport to match latest xenial (critical) bugfix upload. Testing: ======== Tested the backport in my PPA with backportpackage: $ backportpackage -u ppa:tsg-/liberasurecode -s xenial -d precise liberasurecode $ backportpackage -u ppa:tsg-/liberasurecode -s xenial -d trusty liberasurecode * precise: [X] Package builds without modification [X] liberasurecode1 installs cleanly and runs [X] liberasurecode-dev installs cleanly and runs [X] liberasurecode1-dbgsym installs cleanly and runs * trusty: [X] Package builds without modification [X] liberasurecode1 installs cleanly and runs [X] liberasurecode-dev installs cleanly and runs [X] liberasurecode1-dbgsym installs cleanly and runs No reverse dependencies ** Affects: precise-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: trusty-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to Precise Backports. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1517713 Title: Please backport liberasurecode 1.1.0-2 (main) from xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/precise-backports/+bug/1517713/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
