In the last meeting we agreed that some tools should/could be approved
also in non-LTS backports pockets for some special reasons. In fact, it
looks like we are going to handle those within ourselves.

It was on my plate to start the thread to define the list.
Here is my initial proposal. I plan to add it to
wiki.u.c/UbuntuBackports at the bottom of the page once agreed.

Anything to add?

== Special cases ==

What follows are some cases that have been discussed specifically, to
which some of the above rules are waived.

Any addition to the section must first be discussed in the ML and agreed
by the current team members.

=== Allowed in non-LTS releases ===

The following packages are allowed into the backports pockets of non-LTS
releases, because they are deemed useful to always be available on the
latest possible release.
Care must be taken when preparing these releases as so to not break the
upgrade path from one release to the other (this normally means
uploading them to each suite from the newer to the older).

 * debhelper
 * devscripts
 * pbuilder
 * sbuild
 * ubuntu-dev-tools
