You'll need ubuntu alternate CD or the DVD. You'll be able to install in a 128MB RAM PC with them. BUT, you won't be able to use the graphical desktop.
Did you try with the Live CD? Check that out first. You'll understand. Even if you install Ubuntu for 256MB RAM, the performance would to be too sluggish to use anything else. I'd suggest to get Xubuntu. Xubuntu is made for 128MB RAM PCs.
