Dear friends, Now in Bangladesh, at least in my office, most bandwidth of corporate internet connection is used for Dhaka Stock Exchange. We have a LAN of 150 PC's. We have a Linux based server and squid as proxy. Server has internet connection. All network users are connected with internet through proxy. I examined with sarg utility software that 80% activities are www.dsebd.org. Home page and scrolling bar (price) of dsebd.org updates frequently and cache of proxy can't reduce load of download (refresh) pages. Each pc refreshes separately and direct from dsebd.
It is possible to copy a website by HTtrack and view it offline. But I want to keep a copy of dsebd in a location (server), which will be updated continuously through internet and my users will get update from this replica, instead of original dsebd. This will reduce load on bandwidth. Is it possible? Thanking you.
