thanks for your advice

when I give your command it does say that ashabadi is added to adm group

however whenever I try to do something with sudo say sudo apt-get update

"ashabadi is not in the sudoers file.  This incident will be reported."

 any idea?

besides I also don't have access to user manager (kuser) so that says I
don't have root privilege yet... any solution?
